Seems I've neglected my Deviant art account for a few years lol XD. Guess with all the things going on this part of my internet presence has taken a back seat. But I'm back and while soon be adding a good few updates on cosplays I've done and not shown here yet, along with projects I'm currently working on. I would go over what's happened since last I updated, but that would take forever so here's some of the major changes.

.Moved into a flat with one of my best friends in 2015
.Still cosplaying and still loving it
.Got a job in a factory as a Sewing Machinist making pillows and cushions XD

Well it's been a good while since I properly made an update on DA. A fair amount has took place, lets see:-

• Finished College with passing everything (Will have graduation in October where I will be given my HND)
• Only 12 days now till I fly out to LA for a 10 day holiday which includes attending Anime Expo XD (HELL YEAH!!!!)
• Applied for a Degree top up fashion course in my college to further my knowledge (which can only improve my cosplay skills even further)
• Managed to make a bit of start in commissions (only made one or two things here and there, but it's a start)
• Turned 28.............. (god I'm getting old) but apparently I can still pass for looking like a 22 year old lol
• For a Birthday present some of my most awesome friends have put together to get me to Ayacon with paying for my registration, sorting me a room and some money towards travel (EPIC FRIENDS ARE EPIC)

I would say those are the main things that stick out in my mind from whats happened since I last wrote an entry in this journal. So yeah I guess I should finish this entry by telling you all to watch this space for MANY photos from my time in LA, along with a Vlog me and my friends are making while over there that we'll be uploading onto youtube.

Just spreading the Xmas cheer and hoping you're all having a great day ^^.

I've had as usual, amazing gifts from everyone and enjoying just chilling out with my family. Good times indeed. My main Xmas present has been money towards going to Anime Expo LA'13 which is going to be the MOST EPIC HOLIDAY EVER XD. So all you American cosplayers out there be prepared, cause I'm coming XD.

As my main Con for next year is AX, it puts all other cons before it and right after as a maybe. HOPEFULLY I'll still somehow make it to May MCM London Expo, but if not most UK cosplayers probably won't see me till Oct MCM London Expo. But who knows, maybe my costume designing career will pick up and I'll have money to do alot more things lol.

So I finally like various other cosplayers made myself a dedicated Cosplay FB page. It seems like a good idea to seperate it from my personal page and from what I've been told by various people, if I hope to make it as a costume designer a page like this will be good publicity.

Also with Oct Expo being my last Con this year, I'm now Focused on getting progress started on my cosplays for Anime Expo LA'13. Yup, cosplaying in America finally, which will be AWSOME XD. So far my cosplay plans are:-

. Vega (Street Fighter) Confirmed
. JP (Redline) depends on wig lol
. Kazuma (s-CRY-ed) possible
. Undecided fourth Cosplay

Thursday/Friday:- Well in order to cut down the cost of travel I got a night coach down to Expo, but I didn't notice that I'd booked it for Friday night instead of Thursday night ><. Thankfully I was still allowed on the bus and thus began my 9 hour journey to London.
I was suprised that this time around the coach ride wasn't that bad, maybe it was due to how tired I was who knows lol. Although hroughout the journey I had a rather shall we say interesting person sitting bhind me, who had a stuffed toy duck in the seat next to him that he called Jim and talked to for the full trip.......... yeah that's a late night coach trip for you lol.

After the looong coac htrip I finally got to london and made my way through the underground to get to the Excel Center, where I managed to pass the time with my good friend Richard while we waited for more people to arrive and until we culd get into the hotel room.
Eventually met up with Aaron, Josh, Laura, Charlotte, Adrien, Graham, Christopher and Josh's friend who I think was Paul. After chilling out a little, we all started to get into our Friday cosplays, for me it was my Adult Zuko from the promotional poster done for Avatar the last airbender. As we went out we Met up with Julia finally arriving, who Josh had kindly went to get. The rest of the day went ahead pretty average, managed to meet up with Ben, Emma, Emz and Chris during the evening along with being able to say hi to Toni and Catherine. Also later on into the night when deciding on food I met two friends of Ben that where cool (there names esape me at the moment ><) and we ended up getting some food from the local takeaway and sat in Expo having a laugh over various things including the festival of life that was going on and how we all aparently need to find jesus XD.

Saturday:- Got up and sorted for the Dungeons and Dragons group I was part of with Aaron as the Rouge, Charlotte as the Sorcerer , Josh as the Paladin, Christopher as the Warlock/Mage, Laura as the Druid, Julia as the Ranger, Graham as the Bard and Adrien as the Monk/Cleric. We all did OC characters and I was a Barbarian (although to be honest, this cosplay didn't turn out as well as I hoped). So we did the usual wandering as a group, getting photo's extra until I felt I needed a break, so went back to the room and changed in to casual clothes. Had a nice chill out wandering around the expo taking photo's and looking at the stalls. Then a very random thing happened. In approaching a Ms Martian cosplayer to ask for a photo I found out it was Jill, a girl I met about four years ago at an Expo lol, so we got to chatting and caught up a bit. It's funny who you can meet in Expo.
So the day went on with meeting various people, if briefly which included Ang looking stunning as X-23, Bambi as a Twi'lek Jedi, Callum as Spiderman, Toni and Catherine as Korra and Asami. Also finally caught up with my good friend Wayne cosplaying from Game of Thrones.
As the day went on, met even more people including James, a fellow scotsman who joined me for a meal with Ben, Emma, Emz, Jaclyn, Stuart, Chris, Joey and a few others. Was great to see Joey agian as well, great guy ^^.
Ended the night with drinking away in the Fox bar and meeting Frains, Jake Kimber, Jake X, and some more new people. Also met Grace and Sweeturk who I hadn't seen for a good few years. Ehm oh also earlier in the day I'd met up with my good friend Chelsea as well, how I then met agian while out drinking, when the Fox Bar closed and we went to the Novotel bar. I also got to know Greyskull alot better.

Sunday:- Was a great day with cosplaying one of my childhood comicbook heroes Adam Warlock, so went around for the day with an epic cape (everyone should wear a cape XD). Was a good laugh with our small Marvel group, which included Ben who did right by my fandom with cosplaying Cable really well. Also had Joey, Chris and Jaclyn as Black Panther, Operative Venom and Black Widow. The others in the group where yet more new people I got to know somewhat.
So yeah had a good day with the Marvel group talking about comics, then after watching the Masquarade got sorted and made my way to the Fox bar agian where I met most people plus the odd new person agian.

All in all I had an EPIC EXPO XD, it was just such a fun filled weekend and to fully go into it all would take alot longer to write about lol. Safe to say it was brilliant and makes me love the people I know from the cosplay geeky world even more.
